Job Description:
- Installation of passive fiber optic infrastructure
- Installation and commissioning of active devices
- Recording and documentation of the fiber optic network
- Ensuring high quality of fiber optic infrastructure in Biel
Requirements:
- Completed technical education (certified electrician or telematics technician) with further training in communication technology (advantageous)
- Experience in implementing fiber optic projects (installation, site management, inspections)
- User knowledge of industry software in the telecom sector advantageous (network documentation, GIS, CAD, MS Visio, OTDR analysis)
- High level of autonomy: planning work assignments, scheduling appointments, and performing installations
- Category B driving license
- Main language: German or French with good oral skills in the other language
