Life Insurance Specialist for WM EMEA

Your role
Are you ready to play a key part in achieving our Life Insurance unit's business strategy? Are you a shrewd evaluator of risk and know how make the right call in challenging situations?
We are looking for someone like you to:

  • maintain and enhance the life insurance product shelf e.g., product offering, processes, front & client materials etc.
  • support internal stakeholders and external insurance brokers/carriers with operational matters to ensure a compliant and timely servicing of the life insurance book
  • manage the relationship with a panel of external insurance brokers and carriers
  • participate in projects and initiatives with multi-functional teams
  • organize product/country-specific seminars, trainings, workshops
  • monitor and manage risks accordingly within a structured risk framework
  • coordinate the maintenance of the underlying discretionary mandates and investment funds incorporated into life insurance (new mandates, decommissioning, SAA, price changes, etc.)
  • leverage on know-how and synergies from other life insurance locations
  • where necessary, participate in client meetings/contacts covering insurance needs
  • monitor regulatory developments, ensure that the modus operandi of the business is compliant and up to date with the applicable regulatory framework
Your team
You'll be joining a highly motivated team of Life Insurance Specialists. You will be part of the Wealth Planning Advisory & Life Insurance team within CIO GLOBAL INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT. You support some of the most talented senior client advisors, servicing well-established HNWI relationships.

Your expertise

  • demonstrated & proven experience as a product manager of HNWI life insurance and/or bancassurance with excellent product knowledge
  • excellent understanding of the regulatory environment impacting financial institutions in the wealth planning and life insurance space
  • experience dealing with Private Banking Client Advisors, and/or Advisory & Sales
  • strong communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience in managing projects
  • proven coaching/mentoring skills, are a team player with high interpersonal skills
  • very structured and principled with a can do" and a entrepreneurial mindset
  • solutions oriented, analytical, structured, disciplined, diligent, and persistent
  • experience in dealing with compliance and risk controls within the financial services sector
