Haelixa is a multi-award winning, fast-paced ETH spin-off providing DNA-based solutions for reliable traceability of products and raw materials across their supply chains.

By fostering the development and market deployment of next generation DNA markers, we contribute to greater supply chain transparency and sustainability.

We are currently looking for a new team member to join us on our journey

Schedule:
May 2023 or other mutually agreed date (100%).

Holidays: 25 paid days off

Location:
Kemptthal, Switzerland

Your responsibilities:

  • Laboratory organisation, consumables tracking, ordering and preparing laboratory reagents
  • Managing, organizing, and documenting customer samples
  • Executing routine lab work (DNA purification and qPCR analysis)
  • Executing defined labbased experiments to support both internal and external technical projects
  • Precise documentation of experiments, writing reports and presenting results to team and project managers
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Help the Haelixa team in delivering a great product

Your profile:

  • A qualification (EFZ, HFP, BSc) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry or related technical field or combination of education and experience
  • Experience in working in a laboratory (chemistry/biology/molecular diagnostic) and following SOPs
  • Handson experience in DNA isolation and qPCR
  • Very well organised and with a sense of accountability
  • Comfortable with working independently
  • Strong team player attributes
  • Flexibility and energy to work in a highspeed and highintensity environment
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Swiss/EU/EFTA work permit
