While CERN offers job opportunities to all eligible candidates, this specific position is designated for students with disabilities as part of our commitment to promoting inclusivity and accessibility in the workplace.

Qualifications

  • You must be a full-time undergraduate or graduate student (doctoral students not eligible).
  • You should be based in France or Switzerland.
  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Full valid insurance coverage in Geneva for medical and accident expenses is necessary.
  • Main field of study should be in disciplines such as applied physics, computing, mathematics, electricity, electronics, mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
  • Internship at CERN must be a mandatory or recommended part of your studies.
  • You must plan to return to your educational institution post-internship.
  • Proficiency in English and/or French is required.

Important Points to Note:

  • Internship duration ranges from 1 to 6 months.
  • Monthly allowance of 1516 Swiss Francs will be provided. However, considering the high cost of living in Geneva, this allowance is a supplement. It's important to have sufficient financial resources for your stay.
  • Comprehensive insurance coverage in Geneva for medical, work, and accident-related expenses, including disabilities resulting from professional and non-professional incidents, is mandatory.
