Your Mission
  • Your mission at Climeworks is to enable rapid testing of new product ideas and concepts, delivering reliable results to make continue, pivot, or discard decisions. You operate, monitor, and plan test facilities to enable product development.   • You manage existing test facilities and monitor plant performance to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You oversee and monitor test operations, promptly addressing any arising issues.
  • You propose and implement optimizations to current test setups, ensuring approved adjustments are carried out.
  • You contribute to the enhancement of testing facilities to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • You participate in the commissioning of new and existing test facilities and prototypes, ensuring they meet operational standards.
  • You conduct test activities for product development, testing new hardware components, sorbent materials, and adsorption processes to ensure consistent test results.
  • You establish and adhere to testing requirements for product development, guaranteeing test quality and integrity.
  • You verify that measurements and data meet the necessary standards, facilitating accurate and reliable analysis.
  • You enable thorough data evaluation and maintain a smooth flow of information for ongoing projects.
  • You closely collaborate with the site manager and other teams/departments to plan, construct, adjust, and commission new test facilities.
Your Story
  • You hold a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on work experience in a similar role.
  • You have worked in the Gas or Oil industry, Power Plants, Renewable Energy, or other highly complex technical environments.
  • You have practical experience in testing and prototyping.
  • You possess knowledge of large-scale testing process designs and Thermo- and Fluid dynamics.
  • You can work effectively in a team, coordinating work packages smoothly.
  • You demonstrate adaptability and flexibility when faced with unknown or limited information.
  • You exhibit strong communication and organizational skills, with a knack for interdisciplinary teamwork.
  • You operate independently, reliably, and methodically, showing a keen sense of quality and a willingness to learn.
  • You are proficient in both German and English languages.
  • You are open to occasional travel.
