Our operational procurement team's mission is: _Ensure the availability of our products and key raw materials (electronic components) as needed by our customers._ You are responsible for buying the products manufactured by our manufacturing partners and aligning with them on the schedule and priorities.

Additionally, you take ownership to have key raw materials available for our suppliers, allowing them to manufacture the products we need.

You work hand in hand with our strategic procurement team, product lifecycle management, and our sales order management team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work together with our sales and product management teams to review the forecast and demand of our products and plan production with our manufacturers accordingly
  • Plan and buy key raw materials in close collaboration with our suppliers to fulfill their manufacturing needs
  • Prioritization of deliveries with suppliers and first escalations if delivery problems occur (internally and externally)
  • Phasein/out of finished goods and raw materials
  • Daily processing of purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Monitoring and adjustment of delivery dates according to suppliers order confirmations, informing the relevant stakeholders in case of delivery delays
  • Supporting the finance department with incoming invoices
  • Processing of change notifications from suppliers (phasein/out) together with the product lifecycle management team
  • Maintenance of material and supplier master data in ERP (Dynamics 365)
  • Support site and global sourcing activities as directed by Strategic Procurement
  • Collaboration in defined projects (e.g. new product lines)
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operational procurement, disposition, and planning of raw materials and finished goods in industrial environment, ideally electronics
  • Experienced in tools and technologies like ERP (MRP/BOM), Atlassian tools, EDI, etc.
  • Fluent in English and German, written and spoken (B2)
  • Very good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and multitasking
