Area Sales Manager

SUSS MicroOptics develops and manufactures high-quality micro-optical components in Hauterive (NE) and Neuchatel and supplies customers worldwide in automotive, fiber-communication, semiconductor, medical and optics markets.
To strengthen our position in a fast growing business environment, we are looking for an experiencedLocation:
Hauterive, Neuchâtel, Switzerland
Your Tasks:
- Be the primary interface for customers in the assigned region
- Generate steady revenue by identifying new and assuring the continuity of existing business opportunities
- Identify market requirements and assure in collaboration with R&D that the right products are being developed.
Your Profile:
- Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field, i.e. optics, engineering or physics
- Several years' experience in a global sales team with international customers.
- Good understanding of optics
- Ability to grasp technical topics quickly and explain them clearly
- Fluency in spoken and written English, French and German are an asset
- Ease in personal contact; excellent communication and negotiation skills, selfmotivated and flexible
- Ready to travel
- Ability to work as an effective team player who is proactive and takes initiative
