Chief ATC Emmen & Alpnach (60%-100%):

  • Location: Emmen
    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role you ideally work 60% as Chief ATC and 40% as operational expert. Depending on your profile, the percentages can be adjusted.

YOUR TASKS:

  • Lead the Emmen and Alpnach air traffic control in all operational, personnel, organizational and administrative matters in a safe, flexible and costefficient way
  • Maintain a good cooperation with the Swiss Air Force as well as with local customers and partners
  • Manage the unit based on the objectives of the service level agreement with the Swiss Air Force
  • Analyze safety issues for correction in your unit
  • Ensure appropriate operational training for trainees and ATCOs.
  • Ensure adequate timely reporting to the management
  • Support the technical deployment of new systems and infrastructure
  • Efficient and proper personnel planning
  • Act as operational expert

YOUR PROFILE:

  • ATCO or professional experience in the aviation industry (minimum 5 years)
  • Knowledge of the military organization and operations
  • Problem assessment skills and solution oriented working style
  • Proactive, assertive, reliable, serviceoriented
  • German mother tongue, English level B
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
