The User Experience Researcher has experience in research and human factors and is responsible for executing a variety of user research studies to support the development and iteration of hardware and software products, as well as the advancement of user empathy.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Influencing product vision and design

  • Plan and execute highquality research to help us define the longterm goal of the product
  • Earn stakeholders' trust to drive effective relationships.
  • Demonstrate proven knowledge of the problems, how competitors solve them, and where gaps exist.
Designing research plans

  • Clearly define your long
- and short-term research goals and research questions in alignment with stakeholders

  • Plan user research initiatives for the product line you are working on
  • Actively contribute to the user research process and documentation
Running research

  • Conduct a variety of research studies including contextual inquiry, user interviews, focus groups, task analysis, card sorting, expert reviews, design walkthroughs, formative and summative usability tests, and surveys
  • Extensive experience with planning and running usability tests is essential (optional with eye tracking)
  • Communicate research data and outcomes to the program stakeholders, provide easy to understand KPIs, and advise on the next steps
Executing within the medical environment constrains

  • Lead the UCD activities for your product line, according to our work instructions
  • Ensure all required Design documentation comply with the

IEC :
2015 specification

Collaborating to learn and grow

  • Actively engage with Sr designers and Sr researchers to give and solicit feedback to continually ensure that your research is meets high quality standards
  • Actively seek feedback from team members to you grow

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Masters in psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, or closely related field is preferred
  • Few years of experience in user research with an emphasis on research related to software and hardware product design
  • Experience working in the healthcare domain with design control, regulatory practices, and standards for medical devices or similar regulated industries is a nice to have
  • Knowledge of agile software development methods is highly desired
  • Great communication and presentation skills that speak to a broad range of audiences

YOUR SKILLS SET:

  • Excellent analytical abilities, especially about understanding user behavior
  • Experience working with designers, product managers, and engineers in a fastpaced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Experience with running complex usability tests, surveys and qualitative research
  • Good understanding of quantitative methods
  • Proven track record of delivering commitments on time
  • A proven track record of working well with multidisciplinary/multicultural teams
