Intern Network Modeling & Analysis (9-12 months)

Participate in the power supply in Switzerland

In this thrilling role, you will conduct power system simulations and grid calculations, and handle tasks such as:

  • Modelling the electrical grid of Switzerland
  • Creating Post Processing Tools for Wide Area Monitoring (WAM) systems
  • Conducting studies with Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) for Angular Stability
  • Collaborating with various departments within Swissgrid

For this role, we seek a team player with a reliable, structured approach who holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, with expertise in power systems. You should also possess:

  • Good knowledge of network analysis functions
  • Experience with offline electrical simulation tools and script programming
  • Proficiency in English (knowledge of German or French is a plus)
