Position Summary
Nestlé's Global Procurement Legal Team is seeking a Legal Intern to join an immersive Legal Internship Program. As a Legal Intern for Procurement, you will work under the supervision of a Senior Lawyer based in Switzerland. This internship offers the opportunity to collaborate and learn from a diverse team of lawyers located in Nestrade hubs across different countries.

As a strategic partner of the business, we contribute to sustainable growth and ensure responsible sourcing. Our division, with hubs in Switzerland, Panama, and Malaysia, manages procurement for various raw materials, packaging, and services. This role will allow you to become a strategic partner, delivering sustainable value and collaborating closely with the business.
A Day in the Life of a Legal Intern for Procurement
During the program, you will develop skills in Contract Law, Compliance, Legal Processes, Dispute Resolution, Intellectual Property Rights, Risk Management, Legal Writing, and Soft Skills.
- Contract Law: understanding contract drafting, negotiation, and enforcement.
- Compliance: supporting Nestlé's ESG Roadmap, Anti-Trust, Anti-Bribery, Corruption, and Ethical Rules.
- Legal Processes: enhancing processes, maintaining documentation, and implementing best practices.
- Dispute Resolution: managing pre-litigation proceedings.
- Intellectual Property Rights: learning about IP rights Nestlé needs.
- Risk Management: identifying, assessing, and managing legal risks.
- Legal Writing: practicing and improving legal writing skills.
- Soft Skills: developing communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and project management skills.

- Masters degree in Law
- Previous legal working experience
- Excellent communication skills
- High adaptability and proactive skills
- Ability to work in cross-functional environments and with Senior Leaders
- Curiosity, open-mindedness, and adaptability
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
