To join the team of our client, a worldwide company based in Geneva, we are looking for a
Test Manager Lead with a technical background.


Contexte:

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Test Manager.

As Test Manager, you will be responsible to manage projects from a testing standpoint and efficiently coordinate and organize the activities of the testing team.

You will coordinate all testing activities (analysis, design, implementation, execution, test procedures) at every stage of the test process, as well as define testing projects plan and strategies with the project management team.


Your tasks:

Test management:

  • Mobilize and manage various Stakeholders
  • Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements and constraints of the project
  • Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing
  • Be an active contributor to QA Guild
  • Organize the relevant meetings for the project (kickoff, followup, etc)
  • Define the test strategy to be applied based on the best practices and project specificities
  • Develop the test plan, identify dependencies and resources required to run a test phase
  • Handle hardware and software requirements for the Test Setup
  • Ensure content and structure of all testing documents / artefacts is documented and maintained
  • Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per the standards defined by the organization
  • Write/review/validate the Test Cases documents
  • Keep track of the new requirements / changes of the Project
  • Escalate the issues about project requirements (Software, Hardware, Resources) to your management
  • Organize the status meetings and share the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) with stakeholders
  • Act as the single point of contact between Release Manager, Development and Testers
  • Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of different testing milestones
  • Prepare / update metrics dashboard at the end of a phase or at the completion of project

Resource management (allocation, monitoring, motivating etc):

  • Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, mind-set and motivation
  • Manage testing team activities according to the various phases of the projects
  • Dispatch tasks and ensure followup until they are done
  • Ensure productivity and velocity of the testing team
  • Identify Training requirements (Technical and Soft skills)
  • Monitor team efficiency and report regularly to your management
- +10 years of experience in QA area

  • Proven ability to perform endtoend test
  • Experience of working in agile environment with remote teams and stakeholders
  • Prior experience in system integration and data migration projects is strong plus
  • Development background is a strong plus
  • Experience of Luxury industry is a plus
  • Proven experience in Ecommerce domain
