Your responsibilities:

  • Completion of a doctoral thesis
  • Participation in research projects in the abovementioned fields and their valorization (articles, conferences)
  • Active support for the research unit's teaching activities
  • Participation in mandates for public administrations

Your qualifications:

  • Master's degree in political science, public administration, or related disciplines
  • Please note: If you do not have a Master's degree yet, there is also the possibility to be first employed as a research assistant for up to 6 months an engagement that can be transformed into a PhD contract afterwards.
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative methods, and willingness to refine and improve your methodological skills
  • Passionate about research and willingness to work independently
  • Reliable and creative personality
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Proficiency in French is an asset
  • Knowledge of the Swiss political and administrative system is an asset
