The Opportunity

As the Regional Lead for the Enterprise Contracting Center EMEA, you'll contribute to fostering meaningful relationships and driving collaboration across all levels of the organization and with external partners. Your focus will be creating a positive and engaging experience throughout the contracting process, ensuring agreement, transparency, and mutual benefit for all stakeholders. If you enjoy building connections, facilitating dialogue, and driving impactful outcomes through creative contracting, this Senior Manager Level Role is ideal for you.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Stakeholder Support:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including business units, legal teams, and procurement departments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner, comprehending their needs, concerns, and objectives to lead cooperative solutions.

2. External Partner Engagement:

  • Cultivate partnerships and trust with external partners, vendors, and clients, establishing productive relationships based on mutual respect and understanding.
  • Represent our organization in external negotiations, upholding our values and commitment to partnership.

3. Communication and Collaboration:

  • Facilitate open channels, ensuring all partners are well-informed and engaged throughout the contracting process.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, fostering dialogue and sharing of knowledge.

4. Negotiation Facilitation:

  • Lead negotiations, always considering the interests of all parties involved.
  • Utilize negotiation techniques and conflict resolution strategies to navigate complex discussions and achieve mutually beneficial agreements.

5. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancement and service improvement, gathering feedback from partners and implementing relevant solutions.

6. Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Work closely with legal and risk management teams to mitigate contractual risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Attorney at Law, Law degree or equivalent foreign degree
  • Additional qualification in contract law, pharmaceutical law a plus
  • 5+ years of experience managing global contracts from drafting templates to negotiating agreements to optimizing contract processes.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industry is desirable.
  • International travel may be required, up to 10%
