About the Role:
Smarttech247, a renowned MDR company excelling in Security Operations, is on the lookout for individuals with a shared passion for Innovation, Customer Centricity, Quality, Integrity, and Teamwork. We are currently in need of a Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Support Analyst to join our expanding CTI team, assigned to a global pharmaceutical company client.
In this position, you will play a vital role in the intelligence cycle by monitoring, triaging, and processing alerts while providing essential intelligence to the security team and decision-makers. Please bear in mind that some work may overlap with Pacific Standard Time office hours due to our client's presence in the EU and US.
Main Responsibilities:
- Monitor open-source and proprietary threat intelligence platforms for pertinent data.
- Aid in gathering, analyzing, and sharing cyber threat intelligence.
- Assist incident response teams by furnishing timely threat information.
- Back up the CTI lead in generating threat intelligence.
- Update threat intelligence databases and tools, maintaining their accuracy.
- Create comprehensive reports and briefings on threat trends and indicators.
- Contribute to the refinement of CTI processes and methodologies.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack vectors, threat actors, TTP's, and security controls.
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
