PostDoc in Neuropsychiatry and Biomarkers

Your responsibilities

The ideal candidate will play a key role in statistical and methodological approaches, contributing significantly to the group's scientific output through publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences. Additionally, they will oversee graduate and master students, receiving training in various study-related tasks such as basic lab work, MRI scanning assistance, and biobanking support.

Your profile

  • PhD and/or specialization in data science, bioinformatics, biostatistics, neurosciences, and pathophysiology
  • Proficiency in statistical data modeling, encompassing single-omics and multi-omic data integration, multivariate statistics (e.g., PCA, linear mixed effects models), among others
  • Strong scientific track record, including publication as first author in a reputable, peer-reviewed international journal
  • Background in Alzheimer's disease and/or neurodegenerative diseases and expertise in biomarker discovery are highly valued
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and engage in local and international collaborations
  • Interest in clinical research
  • Excellent English communication skills (oral and written); knowledge of German is advantageous
