The Marketing Automation & Campaign Manager plays a key role in becoming truly customer centric.

You will help us to understand how our customers and potential customers inform themselves online and how we can deliver an engaging digital experience based on their specific interests, to establish a long-term involvement.

Key responsibilities:

  • Planning, developing, implementing, and optimizing marketing campaigns: You will plan and execute campaigns on Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly known as Pardot) that aim to generate and nurture qualified leads from brand awareness to acquisition, trigger clicks, improve conversion rates, and increase revenue.
  • Audience segmentation: You will segment audiences to ensure campaigns are targeted to the right people and achieve a high response rate.
  • Creating campaign content: You will work with the marketing communications team to create content for campaigns that are tailored to the needs of the target audience and their state in the conversion funnel.
  • Campaign performance tracking: You will regularly analyze campaign performance and derive optimization actions to ensure continuous improvement in campaign performance.
  • Reporting concept: You will develop a reporting concept to measure and analyze the performance, generate insights, suggest optimizations, and communicate campaign results.
  • Collaboration with other departments and teams: You will work closely with other departments especially the marketing and sales teams at HQ and subsidiaries to ensure marketing campaigns are deployed consistently and effectively across the business and to define campaign goals and develop strategies to help achieve those goals.
  • Taking the role of the marketing key user in the Customer Experience team and helping further develop Marketing Cloud Account Engagement and Salesforce. Create support requests and user stories, be part of the Customer Experience team in an agile working environment.
  • Drive and proactively support the further development of the marketing automation solution in alignment with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and the VP Global Marketing.
  • Provide strategic and operational support in onboarding new users (i.e. distribution partners) in the marketing automation strategy.

Key qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or a related field and at least 3 years' experience in B2B marketing
  • Proven knowledge in B2Brelevant digital channels and touchpoints (incl. Social Media and the website) in order to see the bigger picture
  • Expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns on a marketing automation platform connected to a CRM system ideally on Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly known as Pardot) and Salesforce
  • Proven experience with developing goals to drive business growth, acquisition, user engagement and brand awareness
  • Qualified in analyzing digital customer and competitor data sets and drawing insightful conclusions for future strategies from the data
  • Fluent English language skills is a must, German skills are "nice to have"
  • Strong analytical capacity, data driven, works hypothesis driven to set up campaigns/experiments (A/B testing), growth mindset, flexible, adaptive, eager to learn, proactive, inquisitive
  • Strong independent project management skills
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks with competing priorities and great attention to detail
  • Able to think critically and exercise independent judgment and discretion
