As part of Leonardo, Kopter currently develops the AW09, a next generation single-engine helicopter that offers the largest cabin and cargo hold in its category, increased modularity and modern electronic systems.

The AW09 delivers latest safety standards as well as more performance and comfort at low operating costs.

Kopter is set to become Leonardo's Centre of Excellence for new light helicopters and an incubator of new technologies, contributing to the development of hybrid and electrical propulsion systems.

Kopter's 320 talented team members are primarily based in Switzerland, near Zurich and in Mollis (Canton of Glarus).

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring
- conformity of manufactured rig parts
- on-time and on-quality preparation of test rigs
- appropriate maintenance
- all work performed is in accordance with the released data

  • Using adequate purchasing practices
  • Supporting Test engineer throughout the entire test
Your qualifications & experience

  • Completed vocational training as a mechanic or polytechnician or machinemechanic or similar
  • 2 years of relevant professional aerospace or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge about quality management system (QMS)
  • Ability
- to work independently and act pro-actively
- to prioritize and meet set deadlines

  • English, minimum B2 verbal and written
