We are the largest and fastest-growing travel affiliate network, working with over 10,000 partners in 33 countries to turn their web traffic into hotel bookings and loyal customers.

The Analytics Manager (B2B Supply Optimisation) is an exciting new role within our Private Label Solutions Analytics Team.

This person will primarily be responsible for driving supply optimization initiatives to enhance competitiveness and accelerate revenue growth for Expedia's multi-billion-dollar B2B business.

Key responsibilities include developing insights and recommendations related to supply optimisation, building clean reporting suites and scalable tools from new data-sets, and working cross-functionally to implement strategic initiatives and drive impactful change in the organisation.

This person will work closely with other functions including Supply Strat Ops, Data Science and Product, as well as the broader analytics organisation at PLS.

This position is based in Geneva or London, reporting to a Senior Manager in Analytics.

What you will do:

  • Drive proactive opportunity identification related to supply optimisation for Expedia's B2B business
  • Develop new reporting suites that are clear and actionable, based on new and innovative datasets
  • Provide recommendations to executive leadership team on supply gaps and suggested business priorities, based on expected opportunity size
  • Evaluate impact and learnings from any initiatives implemented
  • Build and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across geographies and functions working on the same topic

Who you are:

  • Min. 5 years work experience as Senior Business Analyst or Data Scientist with focus on strategic / business problems (required)
  • Proven track record of project management, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously (required).
  • Excellent SQL skills. We work mostly with Teradata, Presto and Hive, but experience with other flavours of SQL welcome (required)
  • Experience with reporting and data visualisation tools, in particular Tableau (required)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analysis in an easily understandable way by targeting messaging to the audience (required)
  • Good understanding of statistics and probability
  • Coding skills in Python or R, experience with A/B testing and bootstrapping preferred
  • Ability to handle, clean and analyze large amounts of data independently. Experience articulating hypotheses / methodologies independently to identify insights and anomalies in data
  • Experience in online travel or another dataintensive commercial / tech environment preferred
  • Bachelor's in quantitative discipline
  • Data Science, Maths, Computer Science, Business / Economics, Physics, etc.
  • Fluency in English
