Your goal is to control and lower the level of default as we're scaling while improving the accuracy with which we accept clients.

To do so, you have full ownership of all risk related processes, including fraud checks, credit checks as well as dunning.

What impact do you have?:You own, define, prioritize and realize a risk management vision, strategy and roadmap
You conduct the daily credit and fraud risk assessment of our B2C customers
You develop and improve our risk scorecard with our own as well as third party provider data
You oversee and improve the performance of the dunning process and coordinate with the customer support team or external partners on special cases
You track, monitor and review risk metrics and run analysis on transactions and fraud patterns to improve the risk model
You coordinate with the tech team on the automation of risk related processes
In collaboration with other team members from Operations, Marketing, Tech and Product Management, support the improvement of internal processes

What do you offer?:

Completed degree (university / university of applied science / higher technical college):

3+ years of experience:

in risk management

German (beneficial):

English (business fluent):

You have 3+ years of experience in risk management e.g. in banking, financial services, fintech or BNPL companies. Ideally you have experience in managing risk in an online B2C consumer lending or subscription business
You are enthusiastic to take a modern and hands-on approach to Credit Risk Management and are eager to tackle both the strategic and tactical aspects
You have a strong understanding of models and numbers and base decisions on actuals results
