Lead Data Scientist

We are looking for a talented data scientist who is eager to lead the design and implementation of our big data library and machine learning algorithms in close collaboration with customers and the internal system development teams.


RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Development of a smart data library architecture, design and implement the deep learning and machine learning algorithms for the effective implementation of multiple types of UNISERS data.
  • Support the software development strategy, roadmap and relevant KPIs.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of proven track record of successful Data Science algorithm development, conducting data analysis and developing machine learning & deep learning algorithms.
  • Knowledge of modern machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow by Google, CNTK by Microsoft, Scikit, Amazon or so.
  • Expert knowledge of Python and at least one language for statistical modeling and data processing such Matlab/R/Julia/etc.
  • Clear and easily understandable code writing skills.
  • Degree in data science or in a quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, physics),
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.

ABOUT UNISERS


UNISERS AG is a young start-up from ETH Zurich with a revolutionary technology to tackle the biggest challenge in the semiconductor industry: namely, contamination control.

Our patented products have been validated to tremendously help the whole semiconductor supply chain (components, materials, wafers, equipment and chip fabs) with quality control by finding and identifying otherwise undetected or unknown contaminations.

Therefore, we will help chip makers reduce the amount of wasted chips (often more than 50%), increasing their profit substantially and at the same time contributing to less waste and CO2 emissions.

Having closed a 14 Mio $ seed investment round led by Intel Capital, we are scaling up our team to bring our unique technology to industry as fast as possible.
