Position Summary

Join our dynamic and strategic Applied Nutrition Corporate R&D Team as an Applied Nutrition Lead. This role is crucial in driving our nutrition strategy, supporting external commitments, and leading impactful R&D initiatives. Reporting to the Head of Applied Nutrition, this senior position provides an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference.

A Day in the Life of an Applied Nutrition Lead

  • Provide strategic guidance on nutrition matters to markets, zones, and categories.
  • Translate scientific nutrition advancements into actionable R&D strategies and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate with Nestlé Research scientists to deliver innovative nutrition assets across categories.
  • Implement Nestlé's nutrition strategy by working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Build relationships with external stakeholders and Nestlé research institutes.
  • Promote nutrition knowledge and oversee corporate nutrition education.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive nutritionist community.
  • Participate in external audits to ensure high-quality nutrition data.
  • Contribute to scientific publications, communications, and patents.

What will make you successful

  • PhD in Nutrition Sciences or related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of leadership experience in nutrition research.
  • Expertise in nutrition profiling and research methodologies.
  • Experience in concept ideation and driving innovation in nutrition.
  • Strong project management skills for complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Resource and budget management proficiency.
  • Fluency in English with the capability to communicate complex concepts.
  • Knowledge of Nestlé's global product portfolio is advantageous.
