Web Administrator

In order to strengthen our client's teams in Geneva, we are opening a Web Administrator role.

Responsabilities:

  • Monitor, maintain, tune, and ensure highest possible uptime for web platforms services
  • Maintains web environment by identifying system requirements, installing upgrades and monitoring system performance
  • Establishes web system specifications by analyzing access, information and security requirements and designing system infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose websites related issues affecting end users escalated by the Service Desk and User Support teams
  • Secures web system by developing system access, monitoring, control and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures
  • Support continuous integration and continuous delivery methodology
  • Interact with service providers for ongoing support and operations as well as project implementation tasks
  • Participate in the design and installation phases of new projects, in consultation with the direct supervisor
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up to date documentation that include system and operational policies and procedures
  • Keep abreast of good practices, new trends and technologies and evaluate these for possible adoption
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
  • University degree
  • At leat 5 years in a similar role
  • Intimate knowledge of Reverse Proxy platform and certificate Management
  • Excellent knowledge of Web Content Management System like Drupal
  • Proficient in webbased protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS, SSL/TLS, PHP
  • Proficient with Windows and Linux servers administration, including scripting
  • Familiar with working on cloud hosting platforms
  • Proficiency on CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent knowledge of monitoring and troubleshooting Web platforms
  • Comfortable with SSO protocols (SAML, OpenID Connect)
  • Fluent in English and French
