Global Artwork Technology Lead

About the role**:

  • Define and drive technology usage and continuous improvements for artwork creation
  • Drive Global Artwork and Crossfunctional liaison improvement opportunities for automatization
  • Ensure global standards for automatization level and adoption

How you will contribute

  • With other functions define technology roadmap for Artwork Systems and their interlinkage
  • Technology expert in current and future systems used for Artwork development and maintenance
  • Drive automatization of Artwork development and maintenance through technology usage
  • Definition of overall artwork management system performance measures and adoption
  • Lead performance improvement initiatives within artwork creation on global level
  • Monitor and support projects in artwork centers and share globally
  • Identify and support projects to improve system efficiency of artwork creation
  • Drive system integration and utilization across artwork centers
  • Facilitate issue resolution and remediation on artwork systems
  • Establish repository of best practices for system utilization
  • Collaborate with artwork center on continuous improvement plans for Artwork Sie Assessments scores
  • Support implementation of systems across sites/LOCs
  • Participate and manage key projects to optimize artwork management
  • Support capability building for global and local artwork management system
  • 1st level support for artwork and management systems.

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Advanced background in graphic artwork systems
  • Intermediate knowledge in document management systems
  • Intermediate knowledge in performance improvement techniques
  • Intermediate knowledge and understanding of cGMP and regulatory requirements for packaging materials
  • Solid knowledge of printing techniques and updated in new available commercial techniques
  • Basic knowledge of packaging equipment generally used in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Basic knowledge about production, control and technical requirements of primary and secondary packaging materials

  • Demonstrate strategic enterprise thinking at high level
  • Able to focus on few priorities and deliver superior results on ambitious goals
  • Ability to quickly build good relationships across cultures internally and externally, national and international
  • Good and clear communication skills and can simplify complex matters, in both writing and verbal English
  • Identify strengths and development needs of others and invest time in enhancing their skills
  • Inspire others and foster a collaborative work environment

Interaction

  • Systems & Strategy group for Artwork system
  • Quality organization in LOC's, Plants and global level
  • Regulatory teams in LOC's and on global level
  • Procurement in plants and at global level related to sourcing of packaging material

Innovation

  • Support implementation of best in class innovation solutions and systems to support business objectives

What you bring to Takeda:

  • Required Artwork/Graphical design education or Technical education at minimum bachelor level
  • Certification in artwork management systems preferred
  • Knowledge and certification in continuously improvement concepts preferred
  • Experience from pharmaceutical industry of minimum 5 years in a similar role.
