Your team:

  • Pictet Wealth Management combines more than 200 years of Swiss banking heritage with global investment expertise.   • As a Junior Private Banker in our Zurich office you will be working in the German Speaking Switzerland Team within the bank's Wealth Management. Eager and motivated to contribute to the team's success and to start a successful career to become a private banker.

Your role:

  • Your responsibilities include the following:
  • Develop and maintain a close and trusting long-term relationship with clients
  • Analyze the wealth structure and needs of new clients
  • Prepare investment proposals and solutions aligned with the client's goals, assets and chosen investment policy
  • Execute transactions, payments and other banking operations
  • Set up new accounts and followup on administrative matters
  • Meet prospects and clients, prepare client meetings and manage followup actions
  • Maintain close collaboration with Investment Specialists and the Investment Platform to keep updodate with investment solutions and guidelines, and contribute to the development and implementation of a bestinclass product offering
  • Control and handling of internal processes; client compliancy; data base; client files to all relevant local laws and regulatory requirements

Your profile:

  • Client relationship management skills
  • Understanding of investments, banking and trust concepts including, but not limited to: asset allocation on structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and identification of wealth planning opportunities
  • Knowledgeable across asset classes and investment vehicles
  • Solutionsoriented and proactive mindset
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to demonstrate negotiating skills
  • Degree in finance or equivalent qualification
  • A postgraduate type qualification such as CFA, AZEK or equivalent would be an asset
  • Minimum 3 years of private banking experience
  • Excellent in German and English, French skills are a plus
