About Unilode

Position Overview

General Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of intercompany accounts, fixed assets, and other subledgers
  • Preparation of month
- and year end closing

  • General ledger entries
  • Monitoring of other receivables and payables (e.g., social security accounts)
  • First level approval of purchase orders and invoices
  • Working closely with our shared services (AR, AP & general ledger accountants)
  • Capitalizing and scrapping of fixed assets
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Contact for audits.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
  • 3+ years relevant accounting experience.
  • International experience is highly advantageous.
  • Experience with AP/AR and General Ledger functions

Skills and Knowledge

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with internal and external contacts.
  • Knowledge and skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization.
  • Flexible and open attitude to work.
