Today we are looking for an HRBP that will support our two manufacturing departments (Drug Substance and Drug Product) representing 300 employees.

In this role you will be highly involved from an HR standpoint in the expansion work of our site as we are currently increasing production line capacity for the drugs we produce as well as building a new aseptic filling line.


How you will contribute:

In this role as
HR Business Partner supporting Manufacturing, you will report to the HR Site Lead.

You will be part of a HR small team where your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Deliver on specialized HR support to Manufacturing leaders around employee relations, talent and performance management, talent acquisition, time management and compliance with local labor law.
  • Partner with Department Heads as well as with managers and employees to enable team and individual effectiveness escalating situations as needed and establishing feedback loops
  • Educate leaders around how to use HR policies and processes to build high performing teams.
  • Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition COE to enable recruitment of talents aligned with site capabilities needs.
  • Help leaders drive meaningful performance and talent reviews and take proper actions when confronted with nonperformance issues.
  • Support leaders in developing strong development plans to grow and retain their talents.
  • Drive department discussions to build robust succession planning for key positions.
  • Enable the implementation of rewards and benefits strategies aligned with the organization expectations working closely with our COE Compensation and Benefits.
  • Foster diversity and inclusion and contribute to rolling out global initiatives at site level
  • Manage Employee Relations cases leveraging our ER COE expertise.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant labor and employment law and be the goto person in HR for all topics related to compliance with local labor law, time management and work authorizations requests.
  • Enable the implementation of the HR operating model leveraging our Swiss People Advisory Group based in Zurich, our HR COEs as well as our HR Shared Services
  • Participate or lead global HR projects aligned, among others, with our objectives of digitalization and simplification.

What you bring to Takeda:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • 5 to 8 years' experience in HR among which 4 years as an HRBP in an industrial environment ideally within a manufacturing site
  • Knowledge of a GMP environment

  • Employee Relations experience in managing difficult situations and leading complex investigations with diplomacy and discretion modeling ethical behavior and taking necessary disciplinary actions as needed
  • Labor Law strong knowledge of Swiss Labor Law and implementation with pragmatism in a manufacturing environment
  • Time management good understanding of employees scheduling linked to manufacturing requirements and tracking through HRIS tools.
  • IT and Digitalization highly comfortable with business scorecards and metrics (PowerBI) and motivated to embark in Takeda's journey around digitalization

LANGUAGES AND IT SKILLS:

  • Language: French as native language and fluency in English (C1 level)
