Overview of Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of monthend and yearend financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAPs
  • Assisting in audits by preparing and providing supporting documentation and information
  • Overseeing the Accounts Receivables process (generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner, monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables and proper cash allocation)
  • Substantiation of financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Liaising with external accountants of the Bank's subsidiaries to ensure timely reporting to Group Finance
  • Driving the accounting journal postings and revenue and cost allocations
  • Establishing standard operating procedures
  • Owning the thirdparty relationship process
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Education and Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (e.g., Fachfrau/Fachmann im Finanz
- und Rechnungswesen, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field)

  • SAP knowledge and experience preferred
  • Fully computer literate (MS Office)
Experience, Skills and Competencies required

  • Professional experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable & Receivable, or related fields
  • Problemsolving mindset combined with strong analytical skills and a flair for numbers
  • Taskfocused and able to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
  • Structured, organized and collaborative personality
  • Control consciousness
  • Openminded ready for change
  • Fluent in English, other languages (German, French) are beneficial
