Senior Technical Consultant (ServiceNow)
  • What to expect?
  • As a ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant, you will collaborate with an inventive team to create top-notch customer solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
  • You will deliver technical consulting services to clients, contribute to designing and implementing technical solutions, conduct technically focused testing, and configure technical infrastructure components. Additionally, you will serve as a technical expert within a team, building specialized knowledge and skills in ServiceNow as an enterprise solution.
  • Your primary focus will be on designing and executing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, offering guidance, thought leadership, and hands-on development to both clients and internal technical resources.
Key responsibilities:
  • Engage in client workshops and requirements gathering to develop solutions. Provide advice and recommendations on proposed solutions.
  • Develop defined solutions in ServiceNow to meet requirements, including configuration, scripting, testing, customer demonstrations, and support during go-live.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Create documentation and training materials for the implemented solutions.
What we expect?
  • University degree in IT engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-10 years' IT developer experience and 5 years' ServiceNow experience.
  • 5 years' experience consulting external customers.
Technical Skills:
  • Ideal candidates will have at least 4 years' experience in ServiceNow design and development, preferably in a consulting environment.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX, and AngularJS is highly beneficial.
  • Understanding of Service Management concepts, delivery assurance principles, and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of the ServiceNow application and experience in building custom applications and integrations with other platforms.
Ideally, you will have obtained some of the following certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator
  • Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Service Now Application Developer
  • ITIL Foundation

Additional specialist ServiceNow certifications or experience, such as HR, CSM, FSM, Service Portal, CMDB, SAM, Discovery, ITOM, ITBM, PPM, would be advantageous.

Personal skills and qualities
  • Demonstrate a strong personal commitment to quality service.
  • Experience in engaging with technical end-users in a service-oriented capacity.
  • Highly focused on ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Fluency in German and English is essential.
