What are we looking for?

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the global regulatory reporting process, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of submissions.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework for the regulatory reporting function, including identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential areas of vulnerability in regulatory reporting processes, systems, and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Risk Management, and Operations, to gather necessary data and information for reporting purposes.
  • Provide guidance and support to the regulatory reporting team, ensuring their understanding of risk management principles and best practices.
  • Administer and coordinate regulatory reports to relevant authorities and regulatory bodies, following prescribed timelines and formats.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, and consultants, to address reportingrelated queries and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct with periodic internal/external reviews and audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of regulatory reports.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, regulators, and consultants during risk assessments and audits, addressing their queries and providing necessary information.
  • Assist in the implementation of regulatory reporting process improvements (especially workflows) and automation initiatives. Provide training and support to staff members regarding regulatory reporting requirements through guidelines, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree would be advantageous.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Solid experience (5 years) in the banking industry, preferably in a private banking environment.
  • Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and reporting standards, including but not limited to Basel III, CRD IV is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in regulatory reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Sharepoint, SQL, PowerBI
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus, constantly seeking ways to enhance reporting processes and efficiency.
  • Fluency in English and French is required. Proficiency in additional languages would be plus.
