Don't hesitate, take the leapFraud ManagerAs a pivotal member of our Business Operations division reporting to our Head of Payments Service and Institutional BO, you will play a crucial role in developing and overseeing aspects of our global card processes.As a Fraud Manager within the Payment Team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing daily monitoring of card transactions to assess risks and assisting the Payment Team with cash transfer procedures
  • Supervising Decision Fraud Queues, identifying potential fraud in transactions, and making informed decisions on their legitimacy
  • Establishing fraud parameters, conducting ongoing fraud and compliance transaction monitoring, identifying threats, and devising strategies to mitigate fraud risks by analyzing each case meticulously
  • Spotting, monitoring, and escalating emerging fraud trends and financial crimes to relevant departments like Compliance and Legal Teams
  • Ensuring efficient management of our fraud detection tools to enhance performance indicators and reduce false positive rates
  • Developing and implementing effective processes to minimize fraud risks
  • Cultivating strong relationships with customer-facing teams to enhance the customer experience
  • Collaborating with various internal partners such as Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Treasury to ensure compliance with internal processes
  • Communicating fraud policies and procedures to stakeholders to enhance fraud detection and prevention
  • Participating in regular meetings with external partners regarding card activities
  • Managing chargeback processes
With your existing expertise and skills, you will contribute the following to Swissquote:
  • Proficiency in fraud risk assessment and mitigation, including strategies to reduce loss and exposure to fraudulent activities
  • Familiarity with common fraud patterns and the ability to identify trends and fraud vectors creatively
  • Assistance in recognizing opportunities for process enhancements and streamlining procedures
Requirements
  • Experience in monitoring international payments and debit/credit cards
  • Familiarity with card payment processing products and services
  • Prior experience in Payment Operations, Fraud Operations, or related fields
  • Initial exposure to fraud data analytics with keen attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to engage and drive change effectively
  • Proficiency in English (both verbal and written); knowledge of another language is a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
