Financial Performance Manager

Your Tasks


In this role you will manage, analyse and further improve our technical result processes, P&L reporting and procedures for Actuals, Forecast and 3-years plan.


Your main responsibilities include the following tasks:

  • Design and development of KPI dashboards for financial performance steering, measurement and reporting for senior management
  • Analysis of country's and elipsLife's financial performance
  • Understand variances in the technical result
  • Support on premium and technical result planning process
  • Drive quarterly projection process, financial performance reporting process and premium closing process
  • Enhancement and improvement of financial planning and controlling processes
  • Support in providing explanations on movements and variances in technical result such as plan vs actuals to the Head of Controlling
  • Support Finance Team by establishing a process for explanation of variance on plan vs actual
  • Support the Head of Controlling on any ad hoc tasks and different projects

Your Profile

  • Bachelor degree (or higher) with a specialization in Finance (Qualification in Controlling or Audit is preferred)
  • 24 years of relevant experience in a similar role in the financial services industry (ideally insurance)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Handson, openminded, resultoriented and fast learning person, who feels comfortable in an environment fostering and appreciating selfinitiative
  • Ability to accomplish tasks accurately and strictly within given deadlines and always keeping the big picture in mind
  • Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is a must
  • Fluent in English and German
