Photographer for Products Available On Farmy

We are looking for a person with a strong interest and skills in product photography, in studio who can be available for one day per week (potentially 2 at times) for an undetermined period.

We are looking for someone who is fluent in English and who has a good understanding of Swiss-German. French is an asset.

You would photograph new products for our assortment based on a new and already internally agreed concept.

You will therefore work together with the Purchasing and Marketing departments to ensure the correct products are shot according to pre-established guidelines.

Most of the shootings will take place in our hub in Zurich.

Your job will be reflected throughout the entire website, and you'll be able to use them to build your own portfolio.

Tasks

Your main tasks will be

  • Be responsible for the decorations/setting/camera prior to and on the day of the shooting
  • Display and shoot products according to our concept and shoot them
  • Upload the pictures to our Dropbox and name them according to Purchasing's directives
  • Connect with Purchasing and Marketing departments to ensure a smooth process
  • Contribute to improving the concept of product images by providing feedback to the Marketing team

Requirements:

We are working with conviction for the success of Farmy and are looking for a like-minded person to join us on the course:

  • You are skilled in studio photography and enjoy working with artificial light
  • You can translate a style concept into cohesive product photos
  • You are interested in giving your input to make the outcome even better
  • You know how to work independently
  • You know how to work studio light and what it does to the image
  • You have a deep understanding of composition and aesthetics
  • You are proactive and like to ask questions to make sure a task is executed properly
