This position requires a proactive leader proficient in English and Chinese, with a solid background in material engineering and synthetic fibers, reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations & Sales.
TasksKey Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Direct the entire lifecycle of release management, from scheduling and coordination to overseeing deployments across multiple applications and industries.
- Collaboration and Interface: Serve as the main liaison between various stakeholders, including Segment Leaders, Key Account Managers, and R&D Managers, ensuring seamless integration of technical solutions with business objectives.
- Innovation and Development: Lead the creation of sustainable and cost-effective technical solutions tailored for industries like telecommunications, deep sea cables, and mining conveyor belts.
- Risk Management: Identify and resolve potential risks impacting release scope, schedule, and quality, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Quality and Standards: Develop and enhance test methods and procedures, oversee the maintenance of the Product Release Calendar, and guarantee that all products meet or surpass performance expectations.
- Material Optimization: Contribute to the supply chain development by focusing on the selection and optimization of materials used in production.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain open communication with senior management, providing regular updates and reports on project statuses and outcomes.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Extensive experience with synthetic fibers and a proven track record in a similar role within a multicultural and international setting.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and Chinese, capable of professional interactions in both languages.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams across different cultures.
- Professional Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at prioritizing tasks. Approach challenges proactively and hands-on.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively, especially to the production site in Wuhan, China.
