Your new role responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical expert and team architect for a central platform service in the building twin value stream.
  • Develop a functional architecture for our products in the building technology domain.
  • Execute technical concepts for distributed systems.
  • Evaluate concepts in alignment with technical and business actualities.
  • Ensure the secure and reliable operation of a central platform service.
  • Contribute technical expertise in communities of practice.
  • Address operational and automation challenges related to tools like Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD.
  • Engage closely on a global scale with colleagues internationally across Europe and other continents.
  • We practice agile methodologies, emphasize big room planning, strive for a dev ops approach, and focus on automation and workflow enhancements.

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Hold an academic degree in information science or a related field.
  • Proficient in cloud-native software development tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Git – preferably with full-stack development experience.
  • Programming language skills; familiarity with golang is advantageous.
  • Experience in establishing continuous delivery pipelines in cloud environments is highly beneficial. Understanding of agile, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for global team collaboration and effective communication of ideas to stakeholders.
  • Expertise in data streaming and timeseries databases like DynamoDB, Kinesis Data Stream, SQS, SNS, Apache Kafka (AWS MKS).
  • Familiarity with OAuth2, APIs, and protocols such as WebSockets or MQTT.
  • Fluency in English and willingness to learn German upon commencement if not already proficient.
