Our Career Start Program offers an ideal platform for graduates who want to experience life at the heart of the financial services industry.

You start your main assignment in your business area and rotate to another department for 4-6 months so you can experience different positions, gain insight into a broad spectrum of roles, build new skills and develop crucial networks across the bank.

The program offers a combination of practical experience, shadowing days, structured on
- and off-the-job training, stimulating challenges and evaluation activities. You benefit from the opportunity to seamlessly transfer to an exciting junior position after your Career Start Program.

Start date:
April or up on agreement 2023

Duration: 12-18 months

Academic requirements:
Recently completed bachelor's, master's or PhD degree from a university or university of applied sciences

Your field of responsibility

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role as we are looking for an outgoing and dynamic individual to strengthen our team of Institutional Fixed Income Sales.

In this role you will contribute to the success of the team by being involved in advertising our platform and distributing our Global Credit and Emerging Markets Products to clients while supporting the needs of our international Trading Desks.

You will promote suitable investment ideas according to the positioning of our Trading Desk and the primary mandates managed by our Syndicate.

Furthermore, you will partner with other stakeholders such as Research, Operations, Onboarding, other sales teams, etc to ensure an overall satisfying service to our clients.


Your future colleagues

Our Fixed Income Sales Team in Zurich is responsible for the coverage of Swiss based Institutional clients in foreign currency Bonds and Credit Default Swaps.

Clients include Fund Managers, Insurance Companies, Pension Funds, External Banks, Family Offices.

We make the link between our global Investment Bank franchise and our clients, and facilitate the business with our Wealth Management.

Your qualifications and skills
Demonstrate the skills and attributes you bring to this key position within the Fixed Income Sales department. Tell us how your experience, character and vision connect with the responsibilities required and prospects we offer.

You have:

  • Recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree from a university or university of applied sciences, ideally in Finance
  • Fluent German and a solid working knowledge of English. French would be a plus.
  • An enthusiasm and/or knowledge for Fixed Income and Financial Markets and see yourself in Sales in the long term
  • A clientfocused approach and are a dedicated, selfmotivated, trustworthy teammate
  • A strong focus on service and a balanced, efficient approach to your work
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven reliability
  • A highly motivated, flexible cando attitude
  • The ability to work under pressure and with a high level of flexibility
