Within SIX, the business line "Billing & Payments Ecosystem" is responsible for the solution portfolio related to billing and payments solutions for banks and the Swiss corporate sector (e.g., eBill, LSV+, Credit Transfer, etc.).

As a technical writer, you can be sure to have a large audience. As the market infrastructure provider for billing and payment solutions our handbook and guidelines are critical for our success.

Our publications, which means your work will be studied by experts and engineers from banks, software providers, outsourcers and even large corporates.


What You Will Do:

  • Elaborate and write circular, handbooks and implementation guidelines in German, French and English
  • Proofread and format existing documentations, support projects with their transformation of documentation and guidelines
  • Maintain and enhance our glossary (terms and language)
  • Design and implement style guides for technical publications
  • Plan and coordinate the generation, translation and publication of our documentations

What You Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the banking sector
  • Understanding of financial messaging and common standards (e.g. ISO20022, SWIFT)
  • Experience in documentation of standards with tools like GEFEG, the extensive usage of Microsoft Office and collaboration tools like SharePoint and Teams
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in IT requirement engineering and impact analysis
  • Strong language skills in German and French (level C1 or above), as well as English (B2 or above)
