Haut-Lac International Bilingual School, located near Vevey (Vaud), Switzerland, is seeking applications from enthusiastic Biology and Science teachers.

The school, accommodating around 600 students (K-12) with 300 students in the Secondary School, invites qualified candidates to join the team from mid-August 2024.

We are looking for educators who not only excel in Science but also have a keen interest in engaging students through extra-curricular activities. Experience in teaching IB programmes in international schools is desirable.

Your profile :

· Mother tongue French or equivalent fluency,

· Working knowledge of English is desired; the ability to teach Science in English is advantageous

Bachelor's degree in Biology or equivalent title;A PGCE in Secondary Biology/Science or teaching certificate; Qualified to teach DP Biology Able to teach Integrated Science in MYP1, 2 and 3, and Chemistry up to MYP5;Proficiency in educational technological tools (iPad, MacBook, interactive whiteboards, etc.);Teaching experience of the MYP and DP programmes;A passionate science educator ;Preferred experience of a pastoral role.Your mission :Teaching DP Biology and MYP integrated sciences in French Participating actively in the extracurricular life of the schoolWe offer :A dynamic and creative work environmentA nurturing educational settingA pleasant infrastructure ideally located in the hills above the Lac Léman Please note that following Swiss immigration law, only Swiss citizens, Swiss permit holders, or EU member countries passport holders are eligible to apply.
