What will your essential responsibilities include?

  • Identifying and seizing business opportunities specifically related to Specie, i.e. Jewellers Block, Cash in Transit and General Specie, and Cargo
  • Taking on leadership responsibilities and managing a team of Specie and Cargo underwriters
  • Advising and supporting distribution partners and customers on insurance solutions and risk management and drawing up insurance solutions tailored to customers' needs
  • Building longterm relationships with some of AXA XL's largest Swiss corporate customers, brokers, and other AXA entities
  • Collaborating across departments such as Underwriting, Claims and Finance
  • Participating and supporting internal strategic projects

We are looking for a new team leader.

You will be provided with autonomy, empowerment, training and guidance where needed and appropriate to your level of experience:

  • Professional experience in the insurance, luxury goods or logistics and trading industry, ideally 5 years or more and including experience in people management
  • University degree in Economics, Law or a related field, or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, efficient and able to work independently by structuring the path forward
  • Wellspoken and a communicative, confident and discrete manner towards clients and business partners
  • Motivated and solutionoriented personality that thrives in a fastpaced, dynamic and high energy environment
  • Proficient in standard MS Office tools
  • Linguistic proficiency in English and French and/or German
