Job Description:

Takeda Neuchâtel is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QC Laboratory Sample Coordinator to join their team. As the main point of contact for QC laboratories, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely availability of samples, stabilities, and necessary items for analysis while adhering to applicable standards and procedures.
You will work variable shifts, including weekends, and be on call periodically to facilitate sample management for analysis across different Takeda units in adherence to the highest quality standards. Reporting directly to the QC Planning, Scheduling, Supplying Supervisor, your responsibilities will include ensuring QC laboratories meet testing and product deadlines, assisting QC supervisors in daily activities, and more.

How You Will Contribute:

  • Control, aliquot, identify, record, distribute, store, or dispose of samples in compliance with current operational procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Adhere to defined good practices for reception, processing, and distribution as per protocols.
  • Record, document, and communicate any deviations observed during sample reception to relevant departments.
  • Receive and complete sample attributes in the appropriate system within defined timelines.
  • Participate in validation protocols and stability studies, managing stock of consumables and reagents, maintain and calibrate equipment, assist in non-testing tasks for QC teams, and more.
  • Act as a Deviation Owner when necessary.

What You Bring to Takeda:

  • Hold a CFC or DUT/BTS in biology, biochemistry, or related fields, or equivalent experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Good knowledge of cGMP, analytical, and microbiological methods.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, data integrity awareness, and proficiency with standard and specific software tools.
  • Fluency in French and a good level of English (written and oral).
