Overview of Role:
As part of the Global Advisory team in Zurich, a Vice President / Director will have broad exposure to a wide range of:

  • Products, including M&A and Financing (Equity Advisory, Debt Advisory and Restructuring)
  • Industries, including Healthcare; Industrials; Consumer, Retail and Leisure; Energy & Power; Financial Services; Real Estate; TMT, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daytoday management of projects
  • Work on multiple transactions and with multiple project teams simultaneously on all critical aspects of transactions
  • Interact with counterparts at the client and other advisers
  • Support senior management and coverage bankers in origination efforts
  • Identify new business opportunities and ideas for our clients that advance their strategic objectives
  • Lead teams in the preparation of strategic analyses and financial models required for evaluating and completing such transactions, as well as client presentations, information memoranda and similar documents
  • Liaise with other bankers from the team, as well sector, country and product teams in other offices
  • Provide leadership, mentorship and supervision to junior bankers

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Prior experience of the abovereferenced work in an investment banking role
  • Quantitative and analytical skills to develop corporate financial models and valuations; deep understanding of financial statement analysis
  • Experience with preparing and participating in client presentations, managing projects and the execution of transactions
  • Knowledge of the relevant financial and regulatory environment
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships and be a primary, valueadditive contact person
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment, think on their feet and manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to build a strong working environment within the team, across lines of business and across different geographies
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Strong academic background
  • Fluency in German and English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
