Job Summary:

Accounting & Reporting is part of Tetra Laval International (TLI) Operations department.


The Accounting & Reporting team mission is to provide timely, accurate and relevant financial information to both internal and external stakeholders.

Prepare financial statements in accordance with both Group and Local accounting standards. The Manager Accounting and Reporting manages operations and is responsible for activities in Switzerland, Netherlands, Singapore and Sweden.

What you will do:

The Accounting and Reporting Manager will be entrusted with the following duties:

  • Oversee and manage the accounting and reporting function for multiple legal entities, ensuring adherence to group accounting standards and local statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and present accurate, comprehensive, and timely financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Plan, coordinate the collection of data and prepare the consolidated budget and quarterly forecast.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust internal control system for accounting processes to mitigate risks and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local legal requirements related to accounting, reporting, insurance, and tax obligations.
  • Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising effectively with external auditors.
  • Understand, navigate, and optimally utilize the different systems to improve working routines and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Investigate, recommend, and implement required improvements to the Accounting & Reporting system.
  • Leverage on data analysis and visualization tools (such as PowerBI) to deliver insights. Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead key projects within the scope of the Accounting & Reporting area, driving strategic initiatives to successful completion.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence in all areas of financial and management accounting.

We believe you have:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a managerial role (prior experience in audit preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge of Swiss accounting principles, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss tax regulations and experience in handling taxrelated matters.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (Oracle NetSuite preferred).
  • Strong problemsolving skills and analytical mindset.
  • Good knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, financial instruments evaluation and accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power BI and a good understanding of data science principles.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of effectively managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Proficiency in additional languages (French in particular) would be a significant advantage.
  • Valid permit to work in Switzerland.
