For the Bern Data Science Initiative (BeDSI), a network of professors and researchers at the university, and the DSL administrative coordination office we are looking for an Administrative.

Administrative Coordinator (f/m/x)

Tasks

  • Support the BeDSI chairs
  • Maintain BeDSI website, email lists et cetera
  • Arrange BeDSI meetings and events
  • Prepare and process all kind of BeDSI documents
  • All other tasks required for running a successful network of data-oriented researchers
  • Being the DSL administrative coordinator deputy, employment percentage may be increased according to load
  • Reporting to the BeDSI chairs and the DSL director

    Requirements

    • University degree
    • Excellent English and German communication skills in writing and speaking
    • Experience from a Swiss higher education institution
    • Some research experience from a data science related field is desired and very strong asset
    • Goal and service-oriented personality with excellent English communication skills
