Quality Packaging SpecialistLocation: 

Berneck, St. Gallen, CH, 9442

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time Description: 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Development, continuous improvement and management of the packaging supplier portfolio

  • Establish & coordinate all packaging material complaints processes internally and externally

  • Quality support on projects & initiatives related to packaging materials

  • Develop and lead training sessions on packaging quality for the organization

  • Conduct and support audit at packaging suppliers’ facilities

  • Support audits from external regulatory agencies (FDA, ISO, Product Safety), customers, internal and to lead the preparation activities in advance of such audits.

  • Conduct all work in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP-ISO22716), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), ISO9001 requirements and Health and Safety regulations

 

How you will create a beautiful impact:  

 

  • Development, continuous improvement and management of the packaging supplier portfolio

    • Establish and maintain a packaging supplier management programme with respective functions

    • Coordinate cross-functional packaging supplier evaluations

    • Identify and manage continuous improvements internally & externally

 

  • Establish & coordinate all packaging material complaints processes internally and externally

    • Review packaging material complaints from production, resolve & escalate issues

    • Communicate and follow up packaging complaints to suppliers

    • Evaluate effectiveness of improvement measures taken to improve packaging quality

    • Own and maintain the database of suppliers’ complaints

 

  • Quality support on projects & initiatives related to packaging materials

    • Support the new product development process in all packaging material related aspects

    • Perform quality risk assessment of new luxury cosmetic packaging components

    • Drive continuous packaging and process improvements based on evaluations and learnings

 

  • Develop and lead training sessions on packaging quality for the organization

    • Establish and lead packaging material trainings

    • Identify improvement possibilities regarding packaging material handling

 

  • Conduct and support audit at packaging suppliers’ facilities

    • Perform audits at packaging suppliers’ facilities based on regular evaluation

  • Technical academic qualification or comparable education

  • Very strong communication & relationship building skills

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Ability to resolve issues

  • Ability to develop strategies

  • Organizational skills

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in German & English
