Embedded Insurance Project Manager

We are looking for an Embedded Insurance (EI) Project Manager to work on implementation of multi-country B2B2C insurance programs. The EI Project Manager will run all aspects of project delivery, including planning, execution, and closing/handover.  

 

What you will do

 

  • Manage EI implementation projects from initiation through delivery by creating delivery plans, coordinating resources, managing timelines, and enforcing project deadlines
  • Coordinate with Zurich BUs (risk carriers) and Group underwriters and actuaries for pricing and product definition 
  • Lead/coordinate day-to-day project activities with our delivery partner (i.e., strategically aligned Insurtech)  
  • Leading RFP response process i.e., leading the development of proposals, quotations, RFP responses, and other supporting documents in response to requests from prospective clients/brokers 
  • Ensure issues and risks are identified, tracked, and resolved/reported
  • Perform post-project reviews and use the results to continuously improve processes
  • Lead internal and external status meetings. Report on project status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Actively contribute to developing creative solutions and value propositions to win new partnerships & renewals   
  • Perform strategic analysis of the market & actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities inc. expanding Digital Partners into new markets (e.g., Americas, APAC...)
  • For identified opportunities, develop business cases for change/growth and contribute to the strategic project

 

What you bring

 

  • Ability to lead cross-functional/business projects and managing multiple projects, priorities, and tight deadlines 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably in the insurance industry 
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills with the ability to adjust messages to varying levels of audience 
  • Demonstrable experience of implementing and growing B2B2C Insurance partnerships 
  • Strong influencing and thought leadership skills with the ability to lead across business areas without direct authority
