As Lead Buyer, you report directly to the site Purchasing Manager.
This is a permanent contract, 100% activity rate. Start date is to be discussed.

As a Lead buyer, you are in charge of executing a sourcing strategy for the assigned spend and you are accountable for sourcing economic performance.Lead Buyer - BOBST Mex Factory (M/F)

Key responsibilities :
Identify and implement purchasing performance initiatives (LT Red, Outsourcing,…)Generate and execute Material cost reduction initiativesSelect material sources ensuring compliance with strategic panelsPropose alternative sources to secure supply continuitySupport obsolescence project with site/PL stakeholdersManage RFQ and TCO analysisEnsure accuracy of SAP data, coordinating data cleaning and updateSet up Rolling Contract in line with SCM colleaguesAnalyze and solve root cause of price discrepanciesContribute to site/PL routinesParticipate to reviews with local stakeholders as the key contact point for purchasing activitiesPerform "Supplier Lead" tasks: Business Review, Negotiation, Supply Agreement, Price list update, NDA, T&C's, Escalations,…Key Activities :
Perform Purchasing activities according the Sourcing ProcessImplement Sourcing strategiesContribute to Material cost reduction according the Site/PL targetsFirst point of escalation for the Site/PL stakeholdersLocal supply risk mitigationEnsure compliance with P2P process including price list implementation. RFQ and invoice reconciliationAct as the "Supplier Lead" for his/her allocated suppliers
Experience required :
5+ years Sourcing experience in an international organizationMaster degree in procurement / technical degree (i.e. Mechanical) is a strong plus
