– Start date: Sept 1st, 2024
– Duration: 6 months
– Prerequisite: Interest and some knowledge in area relevant to the internship, passion for On, right to work in EU / Switzerland
– Note: This is a paid internship

The World’s fastest growing sportswear brand is looking for a Global Digital (DTC-Ecommerce) Strategy Intern who can support the facilitation of management meetings, development of various analyses and execution of strategic initiatives.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with our Digital leadership team and Chief Digital Officer to drive key strategic and operational initiatives, from developing business cases and conducting market analyses, to driving local execution. This role is based from our office in Zurich.

Digital at On represents the direct-to-consumer distribution channel, covering sales via our ecommerce platform, marketplaces and App.

Your mission

– Support the Digital Chief of Staff with the preparation of various management meetings and offsites as part of the Digital organization
– Bring actionable insights to the Digital leadership by closely monitoring business performance
– Support the Digital Management on various strategic alignments (e.g. prepare supporting documents for Management Board meetings)
– Assess strategic opportunities across functions and regions through the development of business cases (e.g. development of new marketing channels, impact of new website features)
– Support the development of business plans across regions
– Enhance cross-functional collaboration within Digital and the wider organisation by consolidating and sharing knowledge

Your story

– Strong academic background in Business Management, Finance, Engineering or related field
– Work experience in management consulting, corporate finance or business development role is a plus
– Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to derive actionable insights
– Proven analytical skills with a strong knowledge of assessing business opportunities, building insights and recommendations from large data-sets
– Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build consensus on proposed solutions across regions and functions
– Thriving in a dynamic and complex environment with the ability to work autonomously
– Highly flexible and determined to deliver assigned targets in a fast-changing setup
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Meet the team

The Digital (DTC-Ecommerce) Team brings together a large and diverse group of planners, engineers, designers, data scientists and digital marketing specialists. The team is responsible for distributing On’s products directly to our final customer, creating winning digital solutions and tailoring campaigns that run the length of the purchase funnel.

Within this team the Chief of Staff Function specifically supports the Digital Management in defining their strategic agenda by facilitating alignments and decision making. We also work closely with On’s Management to drive key strategic and operational initiatives to deliver on the Digital agenda. This implies developing business cases, market analyses, as well as driving local execution.
