Business Finance Analyst

ROLE

As a Business Finance Analyst in SICPA, you will: 

• Manage, lead and supervise the development and maintenance of accurate financial & business models (mainly on Excel) for customer project costing calculation and for each business opportunity/project, evidencing project profitability and proposed pricing
• Act as the internal coordinator for the establishment of commercial offers and proposals, answers to tenders, RFIs and RFPs issued by governments for all financial (costing, pricing, bid bonds, performance bonds, tax aspects, financing etc.) and business model aspects. You will ensure overall commercial proposal coherence and that all formal requirements are met in responses to tenders, RFIs and RFPs
• Support and participate to commercial negotiations especially on financial aspects involving price, business model, service delivery model, tax provisions, invoicing, cash collection and payment terms
• Benchmark among SICPA Solutions (various projects) and with third parties security solutions available in the market
• Develop, monitor and maintain economic/financial models to support the “value proposition” approach towards prospects/customers based on commercial inputs as well as third party reliable evidence and measure of customers’ economical, fiscal and financial impact/benefits from using SICPA solutions
• Provide financial expertise support to the project implementation team and ensure smooth handover of financial parameters to Head of Project
• Manage the customer price lists & payment terms (goods and services for third parties and inter-company) in SAP guaranteeing price accuracy, coherence and compliance with contractual aspects as well as intercompany transfer price policy
• Provide necessary information allowing the establishment of service invoices (usage fees, change requests, expense cross-charge, royalties, lease charges, etc.) in compliance with customer contracts including all calculation processing, data collection and data mining in SAP necessary to determine invoice amount
• Establish and maintain a file providing relevant documentation, sources, listings, reporting and/or printouts supporting each customer invoice. Maintain a general file for each customer including all relevant contractual and binding documents
• Develop, implement and maintain a process with necessary related tool to track, calculate and record necessary accruals for potential contract liabilities (provisions for risks, non-compliance of KPIs, liabilities, guarantees)
• Participate to cross-functional and cross-regional internal projects and business initiatives.

PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Finance or in Business Economics
• +5 years of experience
• Strong analytical mindset
• Team player from a multi-cultural work environment with ability to work independently
• Proficiency in Power BI is a major asset; proficiency in Excel is a must 
• Experience in product costing and/or SAP ERP is a plus
• Analytical mindset, attention to details 
• Team Spirit & customer oriented
• Fast learner, works independently with the ability to multitask
• Demonstrated stress resistance and the ability to perform well under pressure 
• Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
• Availability for travel (few weeks per year)
• Fluent in English & French, additional language is a plus
