is a high-tech Swiss company that develops and sells high-resolution, microchip-based nanoindenters for applications in
materials science, metallurgy, thin films, and microsystem technology. Powered by our unique technology, we are rapidly growing
both our team and our global customer base.
We are looking for highly motivated materials scientists, with extensive experience in Nanoindentation, to join our applications
team.
If you are interested in bringing our innovative nanoindenters to the market, we would be excited to receive your application.
What you would do:
- Identify and develop potential customers in the area of academic research with a primary focus on the market in USA & Canada
- Evaluate the scientific work of our target customers to identify opportunities how the FemtoTools
nanoindenters
can be used to
achieve scientific results - Present the most suitable combination of products and measurements to our potential customers
- Pre‐sales and post‐sales technical assistance and product education, issue quotations, sales and after‐sales support services
for our customers in USA and Canada
What you should bring:
- Ph.D. in materials science or a related field
- Extensive, hands‐on experience in nanoindentation
- Good understanding of metallurgy fundamentals and the related testing principles
- Ability to quickly understand a research project and enjoys the interaction with other researchers
- 'Hands‐on’ personality, willing to conduct test‐measurements and demonstrations
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills are required
- Willingness to work in the evenings (required due to the time difference between Switzerland and the USA)
- Willingness to travel (5% ‐
20% international travel)
