Cleans and self-checks the rooms according to current procedures. 

Makes a tour of the vacant rooms and reports any anomaly to his superior. 

Is responsible for the maintenance of the floor office to which he is assigned. 

Assists the Floor Supervisor in controlling the rooms (inspected, stay over, departure) and the offices at the end of the day and ensures the follow-up of chambermaids and porters.  

Signals any discrepancies (occupied vs. vacant rooms, etc.). 

Is in charge of the training of new extras (taking care of them upon their arrival, training according to the procedures and monitoring their work regularly). 

Ensures in-room guest comfort: cleanliness, special requests, etc. 

Makes sure guests are served with diligence and courtesy. 

Makes sure regular and/or important guests receive special attention. 

Knows perfectly our offers, in order to provide any information to our guests. 

Makes enquiries about the events occurring within the hotel and outside of the hotel (fairs, congresses, seminars, etc.) in order to answer guests’ queries. 

Builds and maintains effective relationships with the other departments. 

Conveys the right values and the good behaviors in his service as well as towards his colleagues and his hierarchy. 

Is highly flexible and, depending on the needs of the business, may be required to take on shifts in the linen room, mini bar, public areas and afternoon supervisor. 

Participates in the registration and follow-up of lost property. 

Informs the Management Team of any incident or problem that occurs during work hours, particularly those he is not able to solve or whose importance justifies it, whether it concerns work-related issues or employee-related problems.  

Applies procedures and policies within the hotel and all new procedures according to the management orders and submits new propositions to the Management in order to improve the department efficiency. 

Applies the internal procedures in terms of health, hygiene and safety. 

Controls cleaning products’ use to avoid any waste, dangerous or improper use that could have negative effects on health or furniture.  

Applies and enforces environmental good practices in his department, particularly as part of the Green Globe certification (waste sorting, black & white printing, paperless meeting, etc.). 

May exceptionally perform other duties at the request of his hierarchy.
